BAND SPOTLIGHT  l  AMERICAN STANDARDS 

American Standards is a post-hardcore band based out of Arizona with inspirations such as Defeater, Glassjaw, Refused, The Bled, This Is Hell, and Comeback Kid. They bring a solid, pulsive vibe to their music and deserve attention for the hard work they have put in as a band. Hailing from a suburbia of Arizona, American Standards put out an EP of June 2012 “Still Life.” Check out their music video above, their music on bandcamp, give them a like on facebook, and stay tuned with their upcoming full length LP record to be coming out soon.

So a clothing company brand has erupted in September of 2011 called Ill Bred! These dudes are based out of the West Coast and have some rad stuff going down in the hardcore scene. INTERVIEW  l  SOUL CONTROL

So after the ScionAV Showcase show in Pomona, CA we were able to sit down with Rory and Jim of Soul Control and talk a bit about the band, what got them started, details on the new vocalist and their latest records that have released. We had a rad time hanging out with these dudes for the time we did and are some of the most funny dudes. Good times were had. So we were able to catch up with Fire & Ice as they were on their most recent tour through California recently after their show at Aladdin Jr II in Pomona.
