I am so stoked to announce that Kid Armor’s “Better Days” ep is now up for pre-order on commitment records! I was lucky enough to catch a set of them recently and I must say… this band has more energy then anything I have seen in a while. I really get inspired when I see bands still keeping the straight edge alive and this band does just that. Congratulations for all of this, and for being on such an awesome label! HARDCORE COLLECTIVE TATTOO ARTIST PROFILE: DRAKE SHEEHAN, AMERICAN VINTAGE TATTOO
Drake is one of my close friends so that is a small reason why i picked him for the first artist profile. The MAIN reason i chose him is because the dude is just beyond talented. I watched him go from tattooing in his room to working at one of the raddest shops in Orange County and i could not be more proud of him and where he is. It really seems like tattooing came naturally to him, like it was absolutely what he is meant to me doing. He has an insanely clean american traditional style and can really translate small ideas you have in your head into something that blows your mind. He’s done several pieces on me and my GF and every one of them (even those done pre shop days) is just awesome. If you want to get very clean work done by an amazing dude than head over to American Vintage and ask for “Dingus” hahahaha. Aside from just being a tattoo artist Drake is just an all around good artist period so if yo our your band or label or clothing brand need something super cool and hand drawn looking he’s your man!!!
